The Mora Sahara
Desert dreams await — a boutique resort where modern design meets the Saharan dunes.
About The Mora Sahara
The Mora Sahara sits on the edge of the Sahara just outside Tozeur, the southern Tunisian gateway to the Chott el Jerid salt lake and the Star Wars filming sites of the Jerid region.
Architecturally it's a serious piece of work — modern earth-toned volumes that fold into the dunes, with low-rise buildings, walled courtyards and an infinity pool that disappears toward the desert horizon.
It's a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice 2025 winner and works particularly well as a 2- or 3-night stop on a southern Tunisia itinerary, combining Tozeur, Chebika, Tamerza and the dunes of Ksar Ghilane.
